In the wake of his seemingly threatening comments about President Obama, Ted Nugent told Glenn Beck Wednesday there's an important addition to everything violent he ever says: "in November at the voter booth."

As summarized by The Blaze's Billy Hallowell (The Blaze is owned by Glenn Beck), Nugent tells Beck he has never advocated violence, but rather:

"Every reference I made, whether it’s a shot across the bow or targeting the enemy, it always ended the sentence with ‘in November at the voter booth,’” he said on the show. “I’m not trying to diminish the seriousness of this, because if the Secret Service are doing it they are serious."

By "doing it," he means the Secret Service is following up with him later this week to, you know, just check in after Nugent said, "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year." So now, we're supposed to hear this as "I will be either dead or in jail by this time next year ... in November at the voter booth." 

And look, it works for other violent things he's said in the past, too! Like when he suggested that Deadheads should go to prison and get raped daily. Instead he could have said, that Deadheads should go to prison and get raped daily .... in November at the voter booth! See? All better.
