Rick Santorum made an unusual move on Sunday when he released his full schedule of events for the upcoming week, fighting to remind everyone that he's still in the race for the Republican nomination. Santorum's campaign released a statement late Saturday reminding media members that the Senator would be taking Monday off to be with his daughter Elizabeth, who celebrates her birthday on Monday, and his daughter Bella, who was hospitalized on Friday. The Pennsylvania primary is in a few weeks and, despite mounting pressure to drop out of the race, he seems to be sticking around until then. Politico reports that Romney is making an aggressive ad buy in the state, too. As the New York Times points out, it's unusual for a candidate to release a full week's schedule at one time. The media usually only receives one or two days notice before an event. Even Newt Gingrich did all but admit defeat when speaking on the Sunday morning talk shows. Santorum seems to be sticking around, that we know for sure, at least until Friday.
