Haim Saban, the man famous for bringing Power Rangers to North America, donated $1 million dollars to a Democratic Super PAC, marking the biggest celebrity donation since March.

The Hollywood Reporter reports Saban donated $1 million to Unity PAC, a fundraising committee created to raise money for Priorities USA, (Senate) Majority PAC, House Majority PAC. This is the biggest endorsement from Hollywood since March, when Bill Maher donated $1 million directly to President Obama's Priorities USA.

Saban has a long history of financially supporting Democratic causes. Former President Bill Clinton once described him as "a very good friend." But for a certain subset of people, Saban is famous for his entertainment company, Saban Entertainment, and for being the man who first brought Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to North America when we were kids.
