After Mitt Romney's second month raising more than $100 million, President Barack Obama's total again trailed his opponent, his campaign said on Monday, revealing the president and the Democrats picked up about $75 million in July. The totals put July's fundraising in the same ballpark June, when the president raised $71 million and Romney raised $106 million. The Huffington Post's Sam Stein and Luke Johnson break down the numbers: "The Obama campaign said 98 percent of donations were $250 or less, and the average donation was $53.49. Donors to the campaign numbered 761,000, according to the campaign, of whom 201,000 had not given previously or in 2008."
