Obama Just Might Have a Shot of Winning Romney's Vote, Jon Stewart Says
After Romney said he'd get rid of Big Bird, the Obama campaign simply has not let go of it, and Jon Stewart had some advice last night on The Daily Show: it's time to let it go, guys.
Romney had plenty of holes to go after post-debate. "I imagine shit's about to get real," Stewart said. But no. Obama put out an ad about Romney going after Sesame Street instead of Wall Street. "You're going with the Big Bird buy? Still?" Worse, when John McCain saw the ad, he started cracking up. Stewart threw his hands up. "That ad allowed John McCain--John McCain--allowed him to laugh at you. To laugh at you for using a cartoonish, childlike figure to invigorate your campaign," Stewart said as a Sarah Palin showed up. "That's gotta hurt."
