President Obama will go on The Daily Show on October 18, continuing his tour of friendly chat shows like The View and Nickelodeon. Host Jon Stewart is clearly liberal—the central question of host Jon Stewart's post-Democratic National Convention interview with Bill Clinton was, basically, How are you so awesome? However, the interview will come two days after the second presidential debate, so it's possible Stewart will not ask friendly questions about Obama's awesomeness, but instead, will focus on less friendly questions how he blew it in the first debate—or about what has yet to happen in the second. "There is no red America, there is no blue America, there is only the America that can’t believe how bad this guy did in the [first] debate," Stewart said this week. Obama was previously on the Daily Show in October 2010, as seen above.
