You may remember Jim Lehrer taking a beating after the last Presidential debate. Martha Raddatz, a reporter for ABC News, is moderating tonight's Vice-President debate. The people love her. They really, really love her.
Raddatz is being praised for controlling the candidates and guiding the discussion in meaningful ways. She is asking tough questions and, when she feels it, asking the appropriate follow-up questions. All the things Jim Lehrer was criticized for not doing.
What has the response been? On Twitter, people loved her:
Major props to @martharaddatz for her job moderating tonight.

Raddatz has been a fantastic moderator. She's remained calm but strong, never shrill or tense. Awesome lady, awesome journo. #debates

The thing about @martharaddatz is she's a reporter, not an anchor.
