Maybe Todd Akin should consider thinking before he speaks. Two months after his "legitimate rape" comments, he's now been caught comparing his opponent Claire McCaskill to a dog. 

In audio leaked by PoliticMo, Akin can be heard speaking at a fundraiser in Springfield attended my Mike Huckabee, one of his most loyal GOP supporters. "She goes to Washington, D.C., it’s a little bit like one of those dogs, you know 'fetch,'" Akin says. "She goes to Washington, D.C., and get all of these taxes and red tape and bureaucracy and executive orders and agencies and she brings all of this stuff and dumps it on us in Missouri."

It's not the first time he's lobbed an indelicate insult at McCaskill. In one of their debates, Akin was criticized for dreaming of a more "ladylike" McCaskill. It'll be interesting to see how many of the GOP members who ran back to Akin after the "legitimate rape" controversy will stand by him now.
