Friday Night Lights author Buzz Bissinger endorsed Mitt Romney for president today. The Romney campaign may hope that a little bit of Coach Taylor rubs off on their candidate, but Tami Taylor, as channeled by commenter Judalah, has some other thoughts: 

Hey, y'all. Let me just say, with a big ol' Tami Taylor smile, that having clear eyes and full hearts didn't save the Dillon Panthers from losing lots of games and it won't save Gov Romney from losing either. Seeing him appropriate this beloved slogan does just about break my little old heart, though. So I'll end by pointing out that, at the end of the series, Coach and Mrs. Taylor did move from a red state to a blue one.
