Jon Stewart and the Fiscal-Cliff Asteroid

We didn't need Jon Stewart to tell us how silly it is for Washington to threaten our economy with another downgrade. We need him to show us how silly this whole thing is making the rest of us. Stewart can't tell what's dumber: the fact that this whole fiscal-cliff scenario is completely a man-made thing — an asteroid thing — that America has inflicted upon itself, or the news anchors, what with their blowing on embers and their slapping on of "-ageddon" or "-calypse" to the end of whatever name they're calling it today. It really is pretty silly, when you think about it:
