12:36 a.m.: Obama has snuck ahead in the popular vote.

Senate Races:

Democratic Seats: 19 Seats Won
Republican Seats:  7 Seats Won
Independent: 2 Seats Won

Notes: 

11:19 p.m. Because Joe Biden works as a tie-breaking vote, Democrats have retained control over the Senate. 

10:26 p.m. CBS and NBC have called Tim Kaine the winner in Virginia

10:23 p.m. Fox News is the only network projecting a Tammy Baldwin right now, and as Elspeth Reeve reported, the GOP's Rape-Apologist Caucus had a bad night.

9:42 p.m. NBC is now projecting Elizabeth Warren as the winner of the Massachusetts Senate race. 

9:15 p.m. There was some confusion earlier, apparently there has been no call so far in the Warrren-Brown Senate Race. 

I have not seen confirmation anywhere of the AP Baldwin call and know for a fact NBC has not called MA for Warren.

 Pre-Election: 51 Democrats, 2 Independents, 47 Republicans; 33 seats up for re-election

House Races:

Democratic seats:  151 Seats Won
Republican seats:   207 Seats Won

Note: 

Fox and CNN have projected that the GOP will remain in control of the House.

Pre-Election: 241 Republicans, 191 Democrats

12:50 a.m. The AP and CNN have also called Virginia for Obama.

12:10 a.m. NBC has called Colorado for Obama

12:06 a.m. The New York Times has called Virginia for Obama

12:04 p.m. CNN has called Nevada for Obama

11:28 p.m. ABC is now calling the race for Obama as well.

11:13 p.m. NBC is calling Ohio for Obama and this pushes Obama to 274 votes

11:09 p.m. NBC is calling Iowa and Oregon for Obama

11:05 p.m. The Denver Post is projecting an Obama win in Colorado (we'll update when a major network or the AP calls that race).

11:00 p.m. NBC is calling California, Washington and Hawaii for Obama and is calling Idaho for Romney

10:54 p.m. The AP has called North Carolina for Romney

10:48 p.m. CBS and NBC have called Missouri for Romney

10:44 p.m. NBC has called Minnesota for Obama

10:34 p.m. NBC and CBS are giving Arizona to Romney

10:12 p.m. NBC has now given Nebraska (and all of its votes) to Romney. 

10:00 p.m. NBC is giving Utah and Montana to Romney

9:50 p.m. NBC and CBS are giving New Hampshire to Obama

9:27 p.m. Fox and NBC are calling Wisconsin for Obama

9:15 p.m. NBC and Fox are giving Pennsylvania to Obama

9:00 p.m. NBC is giving Michigan, New York, and New Mexico to Obama and Texas, Louisiana, Kansas, Nebraska (at least 4), North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming to Romney

8:51 p.m. ABC, CBS, and Fox are calling New Jersey for Obama

8:31 p.m. Fox and NBC are calling Arkansas for Romney

8:01 p.m. CNN is calling Oklahoma for Romney; NBC is calling Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama for Romney

8:00 p.m.  CNN has called DC, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Maine (3 of its 4 votes), Rhode Island, and Connecticut for Obama.

7:55 p.m. NBC and CNN have called Georgia for Mitt Romney

7:39 p.m. ABC News has South Carolina going for Romney as well. 

7:35 p.m. NBC News has South Carolina going to Romney

7:30 p.m. CNN has West Virginia going to Romney

7:10 p.m. Right now Virginia is too close to call

7:06 p.m.  CNN, ABC, and NBC have called Vermont for President Obama.

7:00 p.m. NBC News has called Indiana and Kentucky for Mitt Romney.
