Nate Silver jokes have truly reached saturation. At the annual turkey pardoning ceremony Wednesday afternoon, President Obama made a crack about the FiveThirtyEight blogger. Between discussing Hurricane Sandy and how the (useless) vote for this year's National Thanksgiving Turkey became an extended campaign metaphor, the president said: "Once again, Nate Silver competely nailed it." Reaction from Twitter suggests that we have hit a kind of Silver tipping point:
Sorry but the president of the United States shouldn't know who Nate Silver is. He needs to be disconnected from the internet now.

When Nate Silver makes Nate Silver jokes, we know Internet memedom has run its course.
Currently projecting myself to make it to the gate 3.2 minutes before cabin doors close. (Margin of error: 5 minutes)
