Romney Hired Gun Claims He 'Reinvented Political Advertising' with His Losing Ads
Yes, there's something absolutely poetic about Eric Hartsburg (a.k.a. the guy who got the Romney-Ryan logo tattooed on his face) dropping his support of Romney because of Mitt's offensive "gifts" comment, then cashing in on a FREE gift to get the symbol of his newly found regret lasered right off his temple. "Next week, Hartsburg will fly to Los Angeles for the first tattoo removal session, which will be led by Will Kirby, who is known for his appearances on reality shows such as Big Brother and Dr. 90210. Dr. TATTOFF will pay for the removal, which normally runs about $1,000," reports Politico's Patrick Gavin. And, yes, we completely understand there are like six spinning plates here — like we're really supposed to know who Dr. 90210 is and have feelings about him? — but the biggest element here is Hartsburg's ... ahem ... about face, which wasn't because Romney-Ryan lost but, as Hartsburg told Politico, Romney's sour-grapes conference call a few days later when he said the race was lost because of "gifts" given to minorities. Hartsburg told Politico:
It stands not only for a losing campaign but for a sore loser ... He’s pretty shameful as far as I’m concerned, man. There’s no dignity in blaming somebody else for buying votes and paying off people. I can’t get behind that or stay behind that
Of course, there are already Republicans who are taking political offense to Hartsburg's decision:

Timothy Stanley, of course, does not have a tattoo on his face.
