South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is thinking about replacing Sen. Jim DeMint with Jenny Sanford — the ex-wife of Mark Sanford, who was governor when he disappeared on 2009 to "hike the Appalachian trial" while actually cheating on her with an Argentinian. Sadly, fake Senate hopeful and fantasy poll leader Stephen Colbert is not on Haley's shortlist, CNN's Peter Hamby reports. The other four contenders are Rep. Try Gowdy, former state Attorney General Henry McMaster, attorney Catherine Templeton, and Rep. Tim Scott, who's benefitted from the most speculation after DeMint announced he'd quit to run the Heritage Foundation

Sanford (pictured with Haley above right) toured the U.S. with her book about her divorce from her husband, whom she described as weird. Haley will announce the shortlist shortly.
