When the only discernible difference among all the white men who were appointed House leadership positions by the Republican caucus is Paul Ryan's widow's peak, there's a problem. And of course, there's also a Daily Show segment. To be fair, John Boehner did mix up the diversity by appointing Rep. Candice Miller as the chair House Administration Committee—not that that absolves him or the GOP from the wrath of Stewart. What doesn't exactly help Boehner or Republicans (but makes for a good Daily Show segment) is that the one woman they appointed is in charge of what sounds like mundane busy work, and basically that makes Miller, as Stewart puts it, a "House wife."
