The real threat facing America, as anyone with half a functioning brain knows, is the rise of sharia law, organized in secret prayer rooms mosques and intended to destroy the country. (As opposed to, say, the unfettered manufacture, trade and use of assault weapons.) This led a dazed and terrified (and semi-hoarse) Jon Stewart to pull out what appears to be an M16A2 service rifle on The Daily Show last night.
