Jon Stewart vs. the War on Women in Combat

Late last week, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said the ban on women in combat would be lifted by 2016. An array of responses followed — some marked by outrage, others by elation — but some of the most befuddling came from cable news commentators who pinned the new policy's inevitable failure on, among other things, the embarrassment of public defecation. (Also: eros.) On last night's episode of the Daily Show, host Jon Stewart addressed their most strenuous objections head-on — literally, people are still going with the whole little-women-carrying-big-injured-men myth:
