The Real Swearing-in, MIT vs. Aaron Swartz, and 'The Following'
Today, in anticipation of Obama's re-inauguration on January 21, the White House updated President Obama's official portrait. A few key differences from his old portrait (pictured above at left): he is smiling; his hair is conspicuously grayer; the jacket and tie are both are noticeably bluer; and the portrait extends to his waist instead of his chest. All in all, an improvement! And so, so much better than Kate Middleton's portrait. Check the full version, by White House photographer Pete Souza, below:
