Rubio defended the Republicans against charges "they only care about rich people" in his State of the Union response Tuesday night by pointing to his residency: "Mr. President, I still live in the same working class neighborhood I grew up in." What he did not mention is that he'd like to move out of that neighborhood as soon as possible. You see, as Curbed reports, Rubio's West Miami home is on the market for $675,000. That asking price makes the "still lived" one of two truth-bending elements of that sentence. With the median price of single-family homes in Miami at $190,000, his asking price is out of reach for most working-class Miamians. But we don't really the  area; maybe it's gentrified? The Zillow listing indicates that the Rubios purchased the home in 2005 for $550,000.

So, what does $675,000 get you on the Miami real estate market these days? For one, a pool. Not to mention the greatest/most dangerous gift a parent can give a child, a trampoline.
