On Friday's edition of The O'Reilly Factor, host Bill O'Reilly engaged in a bit of back-and-forth with Representative Michele Bachmann of Minnesota. At issue was Bachmann's contention that President Obama put undue pressure on BP to create a $20 billion escrow account--in a recent address to the Heritage Foundation, Bachmann called this "extortion." O'Reilly, hearing echoes of Joe Barton's already-infamous "shakedown" apology to Tony Hayward, spent a few minutes holding Bachmann's feet to the fire:

O'REILLY: You're dodging my question about extortion and about a shakedown. Do you think Obama shook down BP?

BACHMANN: I think they out pressure on them when-- remember, he previously said that he wanted a criminal investigation. So the people that were around that table were thinking they might end up in the slammer.

O'REILLY: Is that wrong? Is that wrong, to put that kind of pressure on them? I think you'd do it.

BACHMANN: Well, you think about it. You think about it. Here you have the president of the United States threatening criminal action. They could end up in the slammer. So are they going to take money from the shareholders to give to the president, maybe, to keep themselves out of jail? I'm just asking.

O'REILLY: But I'm okay with it! Are you okay with it? I'm okay with it ... The only thing we're disagreeing about here, today, is that I don't mind Obama looking at these guys, saying 'You better do the right thing or we're coming after you with everything we have.' I want him to do that.

Other highlights of the video include O'Reilly's approximation of a Swedish accent, his assertion that he'd "go in there with a machine gun" to extract the necessary funds from BP, and the outraged way he wonders, of BP CEO Tony Hayward, "Is there a bigger weasel on the planet than him?"
