Morning Vid: Bill Clinton's Oil Spill Solution: 'Blow Up the Well'

John Hudson 9 Views Jun 29, 2010
"Let's just fix the problem" said former President Bill Clinton on the subject of BP's oil spill. And by fix he means blow the well up with explosives. Clinton offered his advice at a forum hosted by Fortune, CNN and Time in South Africa:
Unless we send the Navy down deep to blow up the well and cover the leak with piles and piles and piles of debris, which may become necessary- and you don't have a nuclear weapon, by the way, I've seen all that stuff. Just blow it up. Unless we're going to do that, we are dependent on the technical expertise of these people at BP.
