So it turns out Apple and Google aren't just tracking the locations of iPhone and Droid users--they're also saving the data, with an eye towards building "massive databases capable of pinpointing people's locations via their cellphones," according to the Wall Street Journal. Commenter AP, for one, took the news in stride.
