The manual typewriter will soon be a thing of the past, but electric models are still very much in-demand. You wouldn't know it from the art that accompanied one of our posts on the subject today, which showed an electric device. Commenter Alex Beal pointed out the mistake, but was kind enough not to blame it all on us.
The typewriter pictured is almost certainly electric (not mechanical). The original article is not very clear, but I assumed it was referring to mechanical typewriters. I believe Brother still manufactures electric typewriters, too.
