Today, Google announced a new set of stricter copyright policies for YouTube users. Those caught uploading copyrighted content like Daily Show episodes or movie clips will have to endure a video tutorial called "YouTube Copyright School" and pass a test on it if they want to keep using the site.

The video outlines Google's three strikes policy of banning serial copyright offenders and is, according to Politico, the company's response to protests from lawmakers and the entertainment industry for not cracking down on copyright infringement. Here's the video, featuring vomiting cats dressed as pirates and cartoon moose eating popcorn. Yep, looks like the search giant's really getting serious this time:
