We noted today that the first fully lab-grown organ, a trachea, has been transplanted. This is really exciting stuff, and jdinbalt celebrates it, while recalling that there are two aspects to medical advances: actual advance, and making it practical.
This makes me happy. Here's the future of organ transplants! Now let's see if anyone will be able to afford it...
