If you even spend a marginal amount of time on Twitter, the results of the AP-MTV poll of teens and early twenty-somethings attitudes toward saying dumb, offensive stuff in jest won't shock you. But it's still interesting to know, for example, that most teens (71 percent) think that words like "slut" and "retard" are more likely to be texted or tweeted than actually said out loud. Or that, on the whole, the takeaway from the poll is that most (57 percent) young people think that whenever people say offensive stuff online it tends to be because they were "trying to be funny" and failed miserably. But one thing that we wouldn't necessarily expect is who gets the most tasteless jokes thrown their way: 

What group gets picked on the most? Those who are overweight. And slurs against the overweight are more likely to be considered intentionally hurtful than slights against others; 47 percent say these comments are meant to sting.
