Cody Krestinger, an accused LulzSec hacker in the Sony operation earlier this year, pleaded not guilty to counts of conspiracy and unauthorized impairment of a protected computer during a hearing in Los Angeles reports Reuters.  Krestinger who allegedly goes by the alias "recursion" is a 23-year-old from Arizona and will go to trial on December 13, according to Reuters.  LulzSec claimed to compromise over 1 million Sony accounts in late May. "Lulz began posting messages to Twitter ... about its "Sownage" campaign, and ... it posted links to download what it claimed was a giant cache of Sony user data. The documents posted include names, passwords, email addresses, home addresses and dates of birth for thousands of people," reported CNN on June 2 of this year.  Reuters writes today that  "a nine-page federal grand jury indictment unsealed in late September charges Kretsinger with obtaining confidential information from Sony Pictures' computer systems using an "SQL injection" attack against its website, a technique commonly used by hackers to steal information."  The news wire adds, "Hackers previously had accessed personal information on 77 million PlayStation Network and Qriocity accounts, the vast majority of which were users in North America and Europe, in what was then the biggest such security breach in history."
