The giant shoes and clothing site Zappos, which is owned by Amazon, announced that hackers accessed some 24 million customer accounts, according to a company blog post on Sunday evening. Forbes has this summary of what information they accessed: "Though the company says that no complete credit card numbers were revealed in the breach, the intruders may have accessed customers’ names, e-mail addresses,  phone numbers, addresses, the last four digits of their credit card numbers, and encrypted passwords." So not only should you change your Zappos and Amazon passwords, if you use the same email and password for multiple sites, you should change that too. It's a pain, yeah, but we should all know better, at this point, than to duplicate that log-in data.
