Google is considering opening a retail store in Dublin, Ireland, Bloomberg reports. This follows rumors that Amazon is considering its own stand-alone outlet in Seattle.

The Dublin store would sell "unspecified Google merchandise," reports Bloomberg's Neil Callahan, but it seems the company went forward after a trial run selling laptops that run their Chromebook system from a London-based computer store. Coming as this does on the heels of the Amazon store report, it seems the Apple Store model has been a seductive one for the company's tech rivals. Your move, Facebook.
