Michael Arrington, founder of of the popular tech blog TechCrunch is back and guest blogging for the site despite an epic, public flame war with the blog's corporate owners at AOL that ended with his exit. But before you get too excited for the return of his shoot-from-the-hip style, know that he's just back for a few days to promote TechCrunch's New York conference, "TechCrunch Disrupt New York," where he'll be interviewing tech industry leaders.

Last year Arrington left to start his own blog after a long feud with Arianna Huffington and AOL. In his first post back on the job, he doesn't ignore the history, writing:

I mean, sure, some of the bad blood still lingers. But it’s mostly healed now. Like when I called Arianna Huffington a psychopath – I really did mean that in the nicest way possible.

Wait, where was I? Right, the point is that I’m back. At least for a few days in New York. Current TechCrunch chief Eric Eldon has graciously asked that MG Siegler and I be a part of the event, and we’re very happy to accept. Eldon even granted me posting privileges on TechCrunch so I could tell you myself.

Welcome back, Arrington. Perhaps now is a great time to revisit the Taiwanese animation depicting his fight with Huffington. Enjoy:
