Viewing Kiddie Porn Won't Be Legal in New York for Long

New York's state legislature is notoriously dysfunctional, but its response to a court's finding that viewing child pornography was actually legal in the state shows it can move fast when it wants to.

Logic takes us strange places sometimes, like when a judge found herself writing this little gem: "The purposeful viewing of child pornography on the internet is now legal in New York."

The Problem with Parents Helping Kids Lie to Get on Facebook

A new study from Harvard, New York University and Berkeley researchers finds that "many parents knowingly allow their children to lie about their age--in fact, often help them to do so--in order to gain access to age-restricted sites in violation of those sites' terms of service."
